Support The Una Casa Mas Fund
“One More Home” is our goal.
Bay Area Housing Corp (BAHC) strives to meet the tremendous need for affordable housing adapted specifically to meet the needs of people in the Bay Area living with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. Una Casa Mas is our campaign to raise funds–one home at a time–to allow people with I/DD to live in a setting that gives them what they need and an opportunity to become part of a community.
With the average cost of a home in Silicon Valley at $1.6 million dollars, we have set our sights on raising those funds from our community. We work in partnership with public and private sector groups to ensure our residents receive the care and support they need to thrive in our homes. We need to raise the funds to buy the home first.
The Una Casa Mas Fund supports homes that need reserves for maintenance and helps families who may be in danger of losing their homes. Both the Legacy Homes program and the Making Homes Work program benefit from the generosity of the community and corporate sponsors. The need is great, and your support makes a world of difference to people in the Bay Area with I/DD and their housing needs!

At BAHC, we envision a community where acquiring housing for loved ones with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) is not the enormous stressor that it is for so many families today. Understanding the need, sharing BAHC’s work, and coming together to create change are the fundamental aspects of our event. BAHC’s Bocce Showdown allows for the unique opportunity of bringing everyone together as one, joining our residents and the greater I/DD community for shared fun, food, and connection. Fostering camaraderie within our community is what drives our mission forward!
